Microsoft - Microsoft Teams can now see real time translated transcripts.
Microsoft Teams, a platform for video conferences, has introduced a new functionality called transcript (live caption) translation into other languages. During online meetings, users can utilize this functionality to activate captions or translated transcripts in real-time.
Therefore, the user need not worry that it will be challenging to grasp the discourse if they have an online meeting with a colleague who speaks a foreign language.
Because to this feature's availability, people will be able to communicate despite speaking various languages.
After the online meeting begins, users can immediately activate this real-time translated transcript. Users who are part of teams can choose their preferred subtitle language directly. so that the translated transcript will be displayed right away when a user speaks a language other than English.
Microsoft has been announcing this real-time translation transcript capability since last August. Microsoft wants to promote more meetings on an international scale with participants from different nations by using this capability.
According to Microsoft, "This functionality is expected to enable users fully engage in meetings where they are not using the language of instruction."
Microsoft used the Speech Translation Capabilities Part of the Microsoft Cognitive Service to create this real-time translation transcript functionality. so that the translation that is displayed can do so rapidly.
According to our research of the official Microsoft blog, this most recent functionality supports at least 34 different languages. English, Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, German, Japanese, Korean, Thai, and many other languages are examples.
